Publication Policy
The Journal of Development and Social Sciences (JDSS) follows a double-blind peer-review process to ensure that manuscripts are evaluated fairly, objectively, and according to appropriate academic standards.
- All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial office to check their relevance to the journal's scope, basic academic quality, and ethical requirements.
- Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements are sent to independent reviewers, including international experts where appropriate, for double-blind peer review.
- The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential during the review process.
- Reviewers assess manuscripts on the basis of originality, research quality, methodological soundness, academic contribution, and relevance to the scope of JDSS.
- Authors receive the reviewers' comments and may be asked to revise their manuscripts before a final decision is made.
The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board have the authority to make the final editorial decision. A manuscript may be accepted, returned for revision, or rejected based on the reviewers' recommendations, editorial assessment, and the policies of JDSS.
The views and opinions expressed in published articles are the responsibility of the authors. They do not necessarily represent the views of the Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board, publisher, or JDSS.
